Community Crossing Matching Grant Projects
2025 PROJECTS
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has awarded the City of Auburn $1 million in Community Crossing Matching Grant (CCMG) funds for the 2025 construction season. The City of Auburn will match the $1 million to complete $2,050,000 in road repairs in 2025. The City of Auburn received an additional $500,000 in CCMG funds during the second quarter of 2024 for the reconstruction of S. Baxter Street which will be completed in 2025.
- Streets: Eckhart Avenue, Phaeton Way, Muirfield Court, St. Andrews Place, Dewey Street, Prestwick Way, Turnberry Lane and Troon Court
- Details: All streets will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and includes the updating of ADA curb ramps to current standards. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: Auburn Drive from Wayne Street to Old Brick Road will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: South Wayne Street from Auburn Drive to Lincoln Street will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: East Ninth Street from Union Street to the Cedar Creek bridge will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: Duesenberg Drive from Sycamore Court to Elm Street will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: South Main Street from Ensley Avenue to Twelfth Street will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding where required.

- Details: South Clark Street from Highland Drive to Seventh Street will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding were required.

- Details: Highland Drive from Clark Street to Dewey Street will be milled 2-1/2 inches, resurfaced, and updated ADA curb ramps will be installed. The project will be completed with appropriate pavement markings, soil grading and seeding were required.

- Details: South Baxter Street from Seventh Street to fifteenth Street will be reconstructed during the spring of 2025. The project will follow a water and sewer project reconstruction project that is currently underway. The work includes curb/gutters, sidewalks, and the repaving of the roadway.
