On Friday, October 24th, we were honored to present a Proclamation for World Karate Day, observed annually on October 25th in Okinawa, Japan.
This special day celebrates the global influence of Okinawan Karate, honoring its time-honored traditions, values, and the life lessons it imparts to practitioners around the world. The proclamation was presented to Franz Karate Auburn, an Auburn-based martial arts school led by Steven Franz, Kyoshi.
We proudly recognize the vital role that martial arts play in supporting youth development, encouraging community engagement, and promoting healthy, empowered lifestyles. Thank you, Franz Karate and all who carry forward the spirit and discipline of Karate!
