Auburn's walkability, museums highlighted

AUBURN, Ind. — Travel information guide Island.com recently highlighted historic downtown Auburn and the city’s museums in an article titled “Indiana’s ‘Home of the Classics’ is a Charming, Walkable and Historic Midwest City for a Weekend Getaway.”

The article highlights the walkability of downtown and the city’s automotive history including its three museums the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, National Auto & Truck Museum and the Early Ford V-8 Museum.

Businesses highlighted by the author in downtown included the Auburn City Steakhouse, Pizza Forum, Birch & Bell Boutique, Forget Me Not, All About You, and the Blue Fruit Jar.   

Island writer Jon Bitner said, “Auburn is the perfect spot for motorheads to unwind in the Midwest.”
