Ribbon cutting held during Heimach open house

AUBURN, Ind. -- The Heimach Center, DeKalb County Council on Aging and DART celebrated the recent renovations of its facility at  1800 E. 7th Street Thursday, February 27. 

Mayor Dave Clark along with other city and county representatives were on hand for the official ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the DeKalb Chamber Partnership. 

The DeKalb County Council on Aging, Inc., is a not-for-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors, disabled persons and others in DeKalb County through services and programs that meet their physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and mobile needs. 

The Council on Aging was named the not-for-profit of the year during the 2024 Duesy Awards sponsored by the DeKalb Chamber Partnership.
