The Auburn Water Department will be conducting scheduled maintenance and site work in the following area:
🛠️ Water Main & Valve Maintenance
📅 Scheduled Date: Wednesday, August 20, 2025
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (approx.)
📅 Alternative Date: Thursday, August 21, 2025
💧 Please Note: 📍N Van Buren – 600, 700, 800 Blocks
-Water service may be completely shut down during the work window.
-We will issue a boil water advisory if necessary.
-After service resumes, please run your water until it runs clear.
-Clean or remove faucet filters to avoid blockages.
🚧 Road Closure & Site Prep
📅 Dates: Tuesday, August 19 & Wednesday, August 20, 2025
📍 N. Van Buren – from First St to Prospect St
-Intermittent closures will occur during these dates for site prep and excavation.
-On August 19, crews will begin work at First & Van Buren, dig the initial hole, plate and barricade the site overnight to allow traffic to pass.
-Work will resume the next day.
✅ North Street will remain open throughout the project.
