AUBURN, Ind. — Celebrate the holiday season in historic downtown Auburn during this month’s First Friday event “Season Greetings & Holiday Award,” sponsored by Auburn Main Street and the Downtown Auburn Business Association.
Area businesses will welcome visitors downtown Friday, December 6 from 5-8 p.m.
Festivities include the unveiling of this year’s Season Greeting Cards display in Courtyard Park sponsored by area businesses. The cards will be on display through the holiday season.
Auburn Main Streets’ final episode of “Season Greetings” will be live on its Facebook page.
Local businesses will be participating in this year’s holiday window display contest. Residents will be casting their ballot for their favorite decorated window. The winning businesses will receive the traveling trophy.
Several of the businesses will have specials throughout the evening, while musicians from the DeKalb County Orchestra will be performing Christmas music at the Auburn Atrium. The Atrium will also feature the Artisan Vendor Market.
Michelle Glenn Photography will be offering “Ugly Christmas” Sweater photos for a $25 donation to Loving Benjamin, a non-profit for infant loss.
