Community turns out for YMCA cruise-in

AUBURN, Ind. -- The community turned out for Thursday night's cruise-in and touch-a-truck event at the YMCA of DeKalb County. 

The event sponsored by the YMCA included the Auburn Shifters car club and representatives from the City of Auburn and DeKalb County government who brought out their trucks and heavy equipment for children to garner a closer look. 

Auburn departments participating included, Auburn Electric, Auburn Essential Services, Auburn Fire Department, Auburn Police Department, along 
with Auburn's Stree20230907_171126t department, water pollution control department water department and engineering department.

Our city departments had such a great time participating in the event. Thank you all for everything you do for our community. 

A big thank you goes to the YMCA for hosting the event.
