NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
The City of Auburn Common Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Norman E. Yoder Council Chambers, Auburn City Hall, 206 East Ninth Street, Auburn, Indiana. The Common Council will consider a request filed by Laura L. Vose to vacate the Sixteen foot (16’) north-south oriented alley right-of-way located between Lot Number 1 and Lot Number 18 in Widney’s Addition to the City of Auburn, said right-of-way located immediately east of and adjacent to the property located at 910 Phillip Street. The section of alley right-of-way was platted as part of the Widney’s Addition to the City of Auburn, recorded in 1923.
The complete file on this project, including a map and detailed description of the right-of-way to be vacated, is available for review between 8 AM and 4 PM local time Monday through Friday in the City of Auburn’s Department of Building, Planning, and Development located in Auburn City Hall at 210 South Cedar Street, Auburn, Indiana.
The Public Hearing is open to all and the opportunity to speak will be offered to all. Written comments filed with the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Auburn prior to the Public Hearing will be considered. Written comments may be submitted to clerktreasurer@ci.auburn.in.us, or mailed or hand-delivered to the Department of Building, Planning and Development, 210 South Cedar Street, PO Box 506, Auburn IN 46706. Written comments will also be accepted during the Public Hearing. The hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary.
