AUBURN, Ind. -- It is not to late to be part of Auburn Community Night -- a special evening celebrating community spirit, camaraderie, and hometown pride -- a thrilling night of hockey at the Fort Wayne Komets.

On Saturday, March 1, at 7:30 PM, the Fort Wayne Komets, in partnership with the City of Auburn and the DeKalb County Visitors Bureau, will host Auburn Community Night. Tickets are currently on sale for the evening.

Tickets can be purchased at https://fevo-enterprise.com/event/AuburnCommunityNight.

The Komets will be in action against their rivals, the Kalamazoo Wings.

Auburn residents will be able to take part in the action during the game.

Local youth will join Mayor Dave Clark for the ceremonial puck drop to start the game.

A few lucky fans will also be allowed to watch warmups from the Komets Penalty Box and ride the Zamboni during the first and second intermissions. A Hometown Hero will be recognized for their outstanding service to the community and country, and the Hoosier Lottery Community Impact Award will be given to a local resident. The award recognizes a community member with a legacy of service.

The McKenney Harrison Bulldog Choir will perform the national anthem and a local organization will assist with presenting the flags.

Businesses, organizations, and community members are all invited to join in on the fun with deeply discounted tickets. Contact Mitch Meinholz mitch@komets.com if you have any questions about your business or organizations needs.
